Keara often goes by the name Kitty. She is 5ft 6in young goth woman from. She has long dark hair that use to hint at red highlights in the sun, and bright blue eyes. She is usually dressed in black, although she doesn't make the clothing look depressing. It is usually dressed up with silver jewelry, fishnets, and black eyeliner. She always wears her combat boots. Always.

Keara Esmond was born to a Pagan family in the Ozark Mountains. It was her families love of nature and refusal to convert to more modern ways that shaped the person she was to become. It was also here that she learned the little bit of first aid and survival skills that she now knows. Keara grew up Wiccan. She learned all about the Sabbats and reincarnation and many other believes that her family held dear. Spirits. demons and other creatures that many people believe to be fairy tales and horror stories were real to Keara.

She eventually traveled North in the hope of furthering her knowledge of occult things. She had heard tale of lay lines and a converging point located in Evansville, IN. Once there she fell prey to the Black Hole that made up the town. She eventually joined a locale covenant. She had been away from home for 2 years when she received word that her mother and father had been killed during a robbery of their home.

It was at this time the Keara had a breakdown. The child in her rebelled at losing it's parents and by the time she had dealt with the grief, she had discovered that people often underestimate you when they think you are childish.(Flaw Magical Ideation.) Two years later Keara discovered that her covenant was being controlled by a vampire and she was ghouled. He later explained that the covenant had been his experiment to find the perfect child. She was changed after a few weeks of preparation .

It was during Keara's first year as a Vampire that she came to be known as Kitty, for her cat like behaviors. It was also during this time that she met her Sire's pupil, Destiny. Destiny took a small part in Keara's learning of Cruac, she taught her, her first ritual. Nathan, Keara's sire, also had a a special bond with Destiny that irritated Keara. This irritation drove Keara to the intense studding of Cruac, in her attempt to prove the better student.

Towards the end of Keara's first year, she learned of of Nathan and Destiny's plan to over throw the Prince of Evansville. However, she had not been informed that Destiny's apparent switching of sides had been part of the plan. When the plan failed and Destiny vanished, Kitty swore she would become a great Cruac user, and punish Destiny for her betrayal of the Circle. Nathan allowed Keara to believe the false hood; seeing how it fueled her desire to learn as much as she could, so she could one day defeat the older vampire.

It was just a few years ago that Nathan told her the truth. Keara then realized how much Destiny had helped her shape her unlife. She had trained and learned how to fight, becoming a Valkyrja for her local Circle, and advancing incredibly far in Cruac and her occult studies for an 11 year old vampire. A few days ago she used a new ritual, Drops of Destiny, and seen that in fact her old rival was trying to get the Circle in San Francisco in order and was in need of help. Keara decided she need a vacation and now was as good a time as any to catch up with old friends.

Keara is oftern called Kitty by those who know her. She has a tendency to be distracted easily, however she always picks up where she left off as though there was no inturruption. This often leads those who are with her to believe that she isn't all there and will never manage to complete anything. But she always manages to pull things off making it hard for anyone to doubt her for long.
