Physical Description:

Age: 24 Height: 5’2’ Hair: Crimson red in dreadlocks. Woven with glass wood and bone beads. Eyes: Bright husky blue. She is petit with a well toned athletic build. She has a very individual sense of style only wears natural fabrics consisting of bright colours, flowing fabrics and lots of layers. Her finger tips are usually wrapped in black insulating tape to reduce burns when fire breathing, She has some small burn scars on her arms, leg and shoulder from mishaps while fire dancing.

In Character Information:

Cassidy was born in 1983, her parent were children of San Francisco’s hippy culture themselves being spiritual seekers. Shortly after Cassidy was born they joined the noe-sannyas movement, moving into a communal living project. Even as a young child growing up in an alternative community Cassidy was considered by the other families as being an odd child. She would often spend long periods of time alone , staring in to space, playing in her own world of imaginary friends or dancing and humming music only she could hear. When she was 5 her parents moved to an ashram in India it was this period of time that most deeply affected her personality. Left to her own devises most of the time the children of the ashram where taught math, reading and writing skill by the adult of the ashram, but lessons were sporadic and there was a large focus on individuality self expression. The children were also encouraged to join in on various classes to develop their ‘true self‘. It was during this time that Cassidy was taught meditation,yoga and was first introduced to fire dancing. Shortly after her 8th birthday Cassidy’s parents made the decision to return to San Francisco. Life on the ashrams had started to deteriorate in the early 90’s and their interest in self enlightenment started to wane. On returning to San Francisco Cassidy was enrolled in a local school were once again she became the outside and oddball. Slightly behind in most of the academic subjects she showed some potential in drama, dance and gymnastics. A few years after their return her sister Emily was born, the two developed very different and at time explosive personalities. The two sister finding it almost impossible to get along. Eventually Cassidy’s continuing struggle with academics and isolation for the majority of the student body caused her to drop out of school at 16. Focusing of her strengths she enrolled in a community collage taking up dance and drama. It was here that she developed a friendship with to fellow students Abigail and Marcus, that would become invaluable. After dropping out of school problems developed between her and her parents. Since the birth of Emily her they had become some what disillusioned with their time in India had mostly giving up the spiritual pursuits. In contrast to Cassidy’s childhood they expressed an desire for her to conform to societies rules and be more like her sister who was turning out to be academically gifted. After a few month she moved out into an apartment sharing with Abigail and Marcus. During the weekends the three made money performing and busking in the various tourist areas around the city. Cassidy also took a job in a tea house in Little Osaka . She under went her first change during her 17th summer. In the days running up to her change she seem to drift more and more into her own world started hearing music, and howls on the wind and spent hour staring at mundane objects that seemed to shift and change the longer she stared at them. The night of her change she was inexplicitly drawn to one of the parks she usually performed in. As she started a practise routine she felt a burst of energy before the area seemed to shimmers and dance in a bright mix of flashing images. The was followed by absolute pain as her body underwent it first change. She awoke the next morning cold and sore in tattered clothing in the park with patchy recollection of what had happened the night before. As she got up to leave she spotted and old lady with long grey hair leaning against a tree waiting for her. She introduced herself a Lyre. It turned she lived in an apartment a few door away for the one Cassidy shared with Abigail and Marcus. She had over heard Abigail and Marcus talking about Cassidy’s strange behaviour and become curios. Keeping an eye on Cassidy she eventually recognised the behaviour as someone going through there first change. Taking Cassidy home she explained to Cassidy what had happened the night before she introduced Cassidy to her god son Luke. Offering to teach Cassidy about the people, hisle and her new duty. For the next two years Cassidy formed a pack with Lyre and wolf-blooded Luke. During this time she continues to take lessons from Lyre learning more about the shadow, joining the Bone Shadows and even started to learn some Rites from the elderly wolf. In November of 2002 Luke under went his first change under the full moon. Cassidy and Lyre managed to control his Rage, however Lyre was badly injured in the attempt. Over the next few weeks it became apparent that the elder werewolf was not healing properly. Her wounds becoming infected and she developed pneumonia. Realising that Lyre wasn’t going to recover Cassidy called in the rest of the tribe to tend to Lyre in her last few days. After Lyre's funeral Cassidy and Luke went there separate ways. Cassidy moved herself into an abandoned building in the Western Addition area. She spent the next couple of month wandering deep into the shadow following Lyre last lesson learning the nature and desire of various choirs of spirits. It was after one of these trips that she met Richard wandering in Jefferson park. Approaching the newcomer she introduced herself. The next night she returned to the park hoping to catch sight of the other Uratha again and wasn’t disappointed when she spotted him waiting by a park bench. The meeting continued over the next couple of weeks as they slowly developed a rapport. First running in Urhan testing each others abilities, and sparing learning each others each other's limitations. Later Richard introduced Cassidy to Gloom Shackle a newly initiated Blood talon. The three eventually formed The Night Watch pack based in Western Addition.
